Making unique handmade gifts isn’t just for adults, kids love to it too. Kids enjoy making their own scrapbooks. They can scrapbook their vacation photos, photos of favorite toys, photos of their friends, or anything else they can think of.

One thing you can bring out to start your kid to scrapbook is by letting them do their baby pictures. Listen to what they have to say about their own baby pictures; they are creative for sure! Sometimes, children see the whole picture of a project better than we do because they don’t feel the same pressure to finish the project. They enjoy the process in making a scrapbook as much as the final product.

Children need encouragement and lots of spaces for their creativity. Be prepared buy organizing supplies in containers. To start, you need scissors, paper, pens, glue, photos, and album. Get started by picking a theme for the photos you are working on. For instance, the theme can be about their camping, vacation, school, and birthday.

Help the children to choose a color scheme by encouraging them to use a maximum of 4 colors that match the photos throughout the whole project. When you go shopping with the children to get the accessories such as embellishments, make sure you bring a few of the main photos.
